1. About Josics

Josics is operated by Josics Enterprises LLP (“Josics”, “we” or “us”). We are developing a community that helps women and girls connect through sport, beginning with teenage girl golfers.

These Terms explain the conditions for accessing our website and participating in our community.

2. Membership, Parental Consent and Verification

Community membership is by invitation and subject to approval. Members must be at least 13 years old. Additional eligibility requirements may apply to particular features. An invitation alone does not constitute approval.

For applicants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent before the child’s community account is activated.

As part of approval, Josics will contact the parent or legal guardian using the contact details provided during registration to confirm:

The applicant’s identity and age.
Their relationship to the applicant and authority to provide consent.
Their permission for the child to join and use the Josics community.
Their acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgement of our Privacy Policy.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to complete verification. Applicants and parents must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Membership will remain pending until verification and parental consent are complete. We may decline or suspend access if we cannot complete these checks.

A parent or legal guardian may withdraw consent by contacting doors@josics.in. We will then disable the child’s community access and handle account closure or deletion requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Parental confirmation forms part of our membership checks; it does not guarantee the identity or conduct of every member.

3. Your Account

Keep your login credentials and verification codes confidential. Do not share your account, allow another person to use your profile or impersonate anyone.

4. Respectful Participation

Treat other members with respect. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual exploitation, inappropriate sexual content, scams and unlawful activity are prohibited.

Do not pressure anyone to share personal information, photographs, contact details or their location.

Unsolicited advertising, collecting or scraping member information, and using the community to target minors commercially are prohibited.

Do not attempt to bypass membership approval, parental verification, privacy settings or other access controls.

5. Content and Privacy

Share only content you own or have permission to use. Obtain appropriate permission before posting another person’s photograph, scorecard or personal information.

You retain ownership of your content. You give Josics permission to store, format and display it as needed to operate the service, consistent with your visibility settings and our Privacy Policy. This permission does not authorize using your content in external advertising without separate consent.

Do not copy or distribute private community content outside Josics without permission.

Our separate Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain and protect personal information, including information used for parental consent and membership verification.

6. Golf Rounds, Events and Other Activities

Unless expressly stated otherwise, member-created rounds and events are arranged by their hosts and participants. A listing on Josics does not mean that Josics organizes, supervises or endorses the activity.

Participants must confirm course bookings, permissions, fees and local rules directly with the relevant venue or organizer.

For minors, parents or guardians must approve participation and arrange appropriate travel and supervision. Consent to join Josics does not automatically constitute permission to attend an individual activity.

During virtual rounds, follow course rules and use phones or calls only when safe and permitted. Do not record or share another participant’s voice or video without appropriate permission.

Submit scores honestly. Scores shared on Josics are not automatically official handicap submissions.

7. Reporting Concerns

Report inappropriate conduct, suspicious accounts or content to doors@josics.in, or through any reporting tools available on the platform.

If you feel uncomfortable during a conversation or activity, stop participating and tell a parent, guardian or trusted adult.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Josics is not an emergency service.

8. Moderation and Account Closure

We may review reported content, remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address breaches of these Terms, safety concerns or legal requirements.

You or your parent or guardian may contact us to request account closure. Personal information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, contact doors@josics.in to request a review.

9. Availability and Responsibility

Features may change as Josics develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of information supplied by members or third parties.

Members and parents should independently assess information about venues, coaches, products, travel and other opportunities before making arrangements or payments.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will publish the revised version and notify affected members of material changes.

Where required, we will obtain renewed acceptance or parental consent before the relevant changes apply.
